<p>So you&#8217;ve got a web-cam and you&#8217;d love to create a daily time-lapse video.  With Yoics, it couldn&#8217;t be easier.</p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t already done so, download and install the latest version of <a href="http://www.yoics.com/?p=19">Yoics for Windows.</a></p>
<p>You can either have the wizard setup your camera for you, or you can manually configure it by selecting Web/IP Cam:</p>
<p><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2260/3534318122_825d20e8da_o.png"><img class="alignnone" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2260/3534318122_825d20e8da_o.png" alt="" width="401" height="147" /></a></p>
<h4>Time-lapse</h4>
<p><a href="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3405/3569396838_ff6d80ea3f_o.png"><img class="alignleft" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3405/3569396838_ff6d80ea3f_o.png" alt="" width="500" height="369" /></a></p>
<p>The Time-lapse setting allows you to create a daily video of your camera’s view, independent of events.   Images are captured every-minute then assembled into a video clip at the end of the day.</p>
<ol>
<li>Click to enable time-lapse creation.</li>
<li>Click and adjust the time settings if you want to only create a time-lapse during a particular time of the day.</li>
</ol>
<p>Like other video, the daily time-lapse will be uploaded to YouTube and a notification will be sent out (Twitter, email) if you’ve setup Yoics that way.</p>
<h4>Instantly publish to YouTube</h4>
<h4><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2286/3533949884_3a6aeea99f_o.png"><img class="alignnone" title="On-line storage" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2286/3533949884_3a6aeea99f_o.png" alt="" width="500" height="369" /></a></h4>
<p>Yoics allows you to automatically publish your captured events on YouTube.   Simply enter in your YouTube credentials and video clips will be uploaded based on the criteria that you’ve selected.</p>
<ol>
<li>Enable YouTube publishing</li>
<li>Only publish your daily summary (default)</li>
<li>Store motion events in your private YouTube (requires Yoics Pro)</li>

<p>You&#8217;ve got a webcam.  You use Twitter and YouTube  Wouldn&#8217;t it be awesome if you could instantly and automatically send out a daily video clip of the days events?  Now you can, the latest version of Yoics gives you all those capabilities, plus so much more:</p>
<ul>
<li>Makes any web-cam into a surveillance system</li>
<li>Auto uploads video clips to your YouTube account</li>
<li>Auto Tweet when new videos are uploaded (all events or just a daily time-lapse summary)</li>
<li>View the your webcam live from any browser, even your iPhone</li>
</ul>
<p>So what are you waiting for, <a href="http://www.yoics.com/?p=19">download Yoics now</a>, it&#8217;s free!  If you&#8217;ve already installed the latest version of Yoics, you can see the advanced configuration on how to Tweet your webcam <a href="http://www.yoics.com/?p=280">here</a>.</p>
<h4>Instant surveillance</h4>
<p><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2304/3534258610_319e96ecb6.jpg"><img class="alignnone" title="Yoics for webcams" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2304/3534258610_319e96ecb6.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="369" /></a></p>
<p>If you have a webcam, with Yoics you now have a full fledged internet surveillance system, with both local and Internet on-line storage.</p>
<ul>
<li>User configurable motion detection window</li>
<li>Daily time-lapse summary of daily events</li>
<li>Auto YouTube publishing (requires YouTube account)</li>
<li>Auto notification (email and Twitter)</li>
</ul>
<h4>Auto Tweet</h4>
<p><a href="http://twitter.com/yoicsinc/status/1804100328"><img class="alignnone" title="Auto tweet" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2279/3534131372_e1196c9132.jpg?v=0" alt="" width="500" height="308" /></a></p>
<p>Twitter has transformed the way that people communicate.  With Yoics, each time your webcam detects an event, you can have an auto-tweet sent out and if you&#8217;ve setup your system to automatically upload the video to your YouTube account, that link will be auto embedded.</p>
<h4>Auto YouTube</h4>
<p><object width="480" height="385" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/g7qmZ2g_ibw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/g7qmZ2g_ibw&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object></p>
<p>In addition to capturing all motion events, Yoics will automatically generate a time-lapse summary of your days events.  And since it&#8217;s up on YouTube, you can embed it anywhere and even add an audio soundtrack if you&#8217;d like.</p>
<h4>Live view</h4>
<p><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2178/3533331483_ab707c804c_o.png"><img class="alignnone" title="Browser view" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2178/3533331483_cf7476c8d7_m.jpg" alt="" width="240" height="221" /></a><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2068/3534149198_29afb8843e_o.png"> <img class="alignnone" title="iPhone view" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2068/3534149198_f67eeef152_m.jpg" alt="" width="160" height="240" /></a></p>
<p>Since your webcam is now Yoics enabled, you can also view it live anytime, securly and privately from any browser even from your iPhone.</p>
