About Us

Yoics Is a Free Service That Lets You Use the Cloud as Your Own Private Network.

Info Graphic

We enable safe, secure access to your devices and your data whenever you have an internet connection.

The Company was founded in mid-2007 by a trio of entrepreneurs who believe that anything connected to the internet should be safely and securely available. In fact, the name Yoics was derived as an acronym for ‘Your Own Internet Connected Stuff.’

Yoics’ patent pending peer-to-peer (P2P) technology reinvents how networking is done across the internet, eliminating complex setups and preventing security vulnerabilities.

Already adopted by many of the world’s top manufacturers including Cisco, Astak and Lorex, ‘Powered by Yoics’ products can be found in mainstream retail outlets such as Costco, Amazon, Fry’s Electronics, and The Apple Store.

We are an angel-backed company based in downtown Palo Alto, CA.
