  5. it’s a combination software + web based tool. basically Yoics is a powerful, secure VPN for any TCP service – where you can access your devices from any browser.

  6. Does the Yoics software need to be left open at all times to allow remote access? Or is having the WinVNC on enough?

  7. You have the option of closing Yoics, but leaving the service running. In that mode, the “VPN” part of Yoics continues to run, along with VNC, so you can remote access – but the application stays closed.

  8. Dear Support,

When I try to add http://www.yoics.com/gadgets/YoicsBetaGadget.xml in Gmail, I get an error “Invalid gadget specification. Ensure URL is correct and the gadget does not contain errors.” Are you having technical issues? Is there a workaround? Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Mohal
