I also have a 9100(A) V2.36 server, and I have it working, but some people cannot access the video. They see the screen briefly than it says navigation has been cancelled and an ActiveX error shows (could not run).

Can anyone confirm this problem with Vista, and I also am interested in the new firmware described here. Is there any chance it will blow up on me.

As to how to upgrade the firmware. In ipEdit, select System and at the bottom of the page is an option for firmware update.

Hello!

I updated my 9100A with your firmware - unfortunatly I got an error at 95%...

Although the 9100A is still working, I could not take advance of the new possibilities.
So I tried to update the firmware, but I cannot access the "System" page of the Web-surface of the 9100A.
Is there another possibility to re-update the firmware?

Thanks in advance

I'm about to receive the 9100a from amazon, I don't use a iPhone so not certain if yoics is for me yet. But I'm hoping that Yoics will stream out to MMS:// as well. If it does than I'm all set for my planned security setup.

The cameras in the screenshot use 3.6mm and 2.8mm lenses - which provide the 'wide angle' you are looking for. Just get a camera with those specifications & you should be all set.

As long as it's the 9100 yes, including the BNC version. Any of the mjpeg servers/cameras based on the winbond chipset will work.

With Aviosys I have no clue as they don't know what is going on in their own company.

I would say that it stays in production because it sells, even though they would like to kill it.

Hi all,

I'm new to the 9100A, and found it via googling; it looks ideal for one of my projects.

After reading at the top of this page about the 9100A being no longer in production, I emailed the manufacturer in Taiwan direct - they said that the 9100A is _still in production_. I was wondering how to reconcile these two contradictory statements - does anyone have any more information?
